DEERFIELD – Christy B. “Chris” Rogers, 85, of Deerfield, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 27, 2026, at home surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born on February 9, 1941, in Warner, NH, the son of the late Winston B. Rogers and D. Elaine (Kalloch) Curra.

Chris enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and especially loved playing and watching tennis. He was an avid sports fan who faithfully followed his favorite teams, especially the Tampa Bay Rays, and also enjoyed watching hockey. Chris had a passion for remote control hobby planes, a pastime he enjoyed sharing with his grandson.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his beloved wife, Simone D. (Wilson) Simmons.

Chris is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Gagnon; his stepdaughter, Lacinda Broek and her husband, Jonathan; two grandsons; six great-grandchildren; a sister; and a nephew.
