Laconia - Charlotte M. Courtois, 92, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at St. Francis Nursing Home in Laconia. She was born on October 11, 1931 in Laconia, NH to the late Frank and Glenda (Rondeau) Baron. Charlotte spent her early years in Suncook, NH, surrounded by aunts, uncles, and cousins. She later moved to Manchester where she worked and raised her three children. After retiring from Verizon, Charlotte moved to Tilton, NH, to help care for her grandchildren, then eventually moved to Holliston, MA, to be closer to her son and his family. Charlotte was active in her community, even while at St. Francis. She participated in everything offered and had great luck at Bingo, which she truly enjoyed. Charlotte is survived by her three children: Michael Courtois and his wife Janice, Carol Sanborn and her husband John and Samuel Courtois; her brother: Roger Baron; her five grandchildren: Nick Courtois, Thomas and Patrick Sanborn, Kathryn Pratt and Samantha Courtois; her four great grandchildren: Jaxson, Sophia, Charlotte and Quinnlee; and nephews: Eric Baron and Dennis St. Pierre. Calling Hours will be held on Monday, June 17, 2024 from 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM at Roan Family Funeral Home, 167 Main St. in Pembroke. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home at 3:30 PM. There is no burial at this time.
