Charles E. Lavalley, Jr, 95, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024 following a period of declining health. He was born on June 19, 1928 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Charles E. and Mary R. (Bridge) Lavalley. Raised in Shirley and Pepperell, MA and Hudson, NH, he later moved to Detroit with his family while in his teens. In Detroit, he met and married Elaine (Addis) Lavalley. In 1959, he returned to NH with his young family and took a job driving for Nashua Motor Express, retiring to Florida after 32 years. He resided in Florida for 25 years and returned to NH in 2015. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his later wife: Fern (Briand) Lavalley; his son: Charles Lavalley; his daughter: Mary Lavalley; his brother: Robert Lavalley; and his sister: Regina Efstathiou. He is survived by his children: Thomas Lavalley and Victoria Silva and her husband Frank. Services are private and will be held at Hills Farms Cemetery in Hudson.
