PEMBROKE- Carol Lynn Thompson, 76, of Pembroke, passed away at the Concord Hospital on August 28, 2024 after a lengthy period of declining health. Born in Pittsfield, Carol was the daughter of the late Vernol and Louise (Fischer) Thompson. She was raised and educated in Barnstead and was a graduate of Pittsfield High School. She later attended Margaret's School of Cosmetology in Concord. Carol worked as a hairdresser for many years at Normandy Beauty Salon in Concord. She later managed Merrimack Dry Cleaners in Franklin. She loved vacationing with friends at Wells Beach, Maine. Carol truly had a "green thumb" when it came to gardening and indoor plants over the years. Carol is survived by her brother, Thomas Thompson of Pembroke, as well as several cousins and close friends. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no services.
