ALLENSTOWN - Carlton L. Currier, 80, of Allenstown, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at the Elliot Hospital following a period of declining health.
He was born on December 15, 1941 in Avon, ME, son of the late Richard Currier and Marion Hope (Thompson) Patterson.
He enlisted in the United States Air Force, proudly serving his country.
Carlton was a hard worker and through the years he worked for the Town of Hooksett in the DPW as well as plow driver and vault installer which always involved his children, they still talk about the memories they made helping him. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, gardening and just getting in the car to take a drive with no specific destination intended.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Georgette (Laferte) Currier as well as a son, Roger Currier.
He is survived by his children, Raymond Currier and his wife Joan of Beverly, MA, Gail Currier of Allenstown, Eddie Currier and his wife Diane of Pembroke, daughter-in-law, Ann Currier of Concord, a great aunt, Ann Thomas, eight grandchildren, William Currier and his wife Victoria of Dover, Michael Currier and his wife Kelli of Allenstown, Rachel Currier of Concord, James Currier of Eliot, ME, Matthew Currier of Portsmouth, Jennifer Persons and her husband Matthew of Reading, MA, Julia Mazzo and her husband Joseph of Port Orange, FL and Samantha Currier of Portsmouth, three great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Taylor and Izzy.
