Many of the children practiced their reading with Grammy whether in person or over FaceTime she always made the time, and had the patience to listen. She found so much joy in thinking up and creating projects, games and activities to do together. From finding cool shells on the beach, to scavenger hunts, to science experiments to cooking together- she loved quality time with the kids. She always looked forward to traveling to Kentucky at thanksgiving and started a tradition of creating and playing minute to win it games after the meal. The competition was fierce and the laughter even greater. Carleen will be deeply missed by her friends and family- but she was sure to tell everyone that her bags were packed and she was ready for Heaven, she found joy through Christ everyday and encouraged those around her to find that joy as well.
