PITTSFIELD - Carl "Butch" G. Cassin II, 74, of Pittsfield passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at the Granite VNA Hospice House. Born in Concord on August 10, 1950, the son of the late Carl G. Cassin and Catherine (White) Cassin. Butch enjoyed spending time with family and enjoyed playing sports with the neighborhood kids. He was always there to lend a hand to anyone who needed help. Butch volunteered at the PYW and fire department. He was also a softball coach and an assistant Cub Scout Master. He enjoyed camping, sitting around the fire pit, playing pool, motorcycles, bowling and traveling. Besides his parents, Butch was pre deceased by his brother, Lawrence " Larry" Cassin and Larry's son Christopher Cassin. Members of his family include his wife, Carol (Courchesne) Cassin; son, Nathan Cassin of Pittsfield; daughter, Amanda Witham and her husband, Eric of Center Barnstead; grandchildren, Jazmine Witham, Keagan Cassin, Carter Cassin, Hunter Witham and Drake Cassin; brother, Steven Cassin and his wife, Jane of IL and many nieces and nephews.
