Obituary

Pittsfield – Beverly N. Gardner, 91, of Pittsfield, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026, at the Mountain Ridge Center in Franklin.

She was born on July 14, 1934, in Manchester, daughter of the late William and Charlotte (Codding) Fife.

Beverly was extremely active in her community, a lifelong member of the Deerfield Fair Association, Deerfield Historical Society as well as a member of the Deerfield Community Church for many years. She enjoyed going antiquing and knitting. Beverly was employed for many years with the State of NH Lottery Commission until her retirement.

Besides her parents, Beverly was predeceased by her siblings, Shirley Higgins, Buddy Fife and Emily Yeaton.

She is survived by her children, Brenda Chalbek and her husband Kevin, Ginger Demers and her husband Pete and Bub Gardner and his wife Jenny; three grandchildren, Elise and Brett Demers and Health Chalbek, two great grandchildren, Gabriel and Mikeala as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 10AM to 11:30AM at the Roan Family Funeral Home – Still Oaks Chapel, 1217 Suncook Valley Highway, Epsom. A brief service will be held at the funeral home beginning at 11:30AM. Interment will follow at Morrison Cemetery in Deerfield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Beverly’s memory to the Deerfield Historical Society, 5 North Road, Deerfield, NH 03037.
