ALLENSTOWN - Barbara J. Marier, 79, of Allenstown passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at home with her husband by her side. She was born December 14, 1943 in Concord, the daughter of the late John and Bernice (Stewart) Severance. For over 20 years Barbara was employed as a clerk for Berube's Truck Accessories until her retirement. Barbara enjoyed reading and completing puzzles, in her younger years she loved to go swimming in her pool. She was a wine connoisseur, her family loved to tease her about this. Time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchild brought her much joy. She was predeceased by her siblings Jeannette Plourde, Donna McIntyre, Debra Provencher and Stewart Severance. She is survived by her husband, Robert Marier, Sr. with whom she shared 60 years of marriage; her children, Robin Castner and husband Mark of Alexandria and Robert Marier, Jr. of Allenstown; grandchildren, Bethany Marceau and husband Justin, and Nicholas Apt, her great grandchild, Hazel Marceau as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Life well be held Friday, January 13, 2023 from 2PM-4PM at the Roan Family Funeral Home - 167 Main Street, Pembroke. A time for words of remembrance will be held from 3:30PM-4PM.
