EPSOM - Alice E. Pender, 91, of Epsom, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Concord Hospital with her family by her side. Alice was born in Lee on November 18, 1931, daughter of the late George Smith and Gladys (Demeritt) LaRoche. Alice worked for many years as a housekeeper and enjoyed what she did. She loved to crochet, garden, beat all her friends and family at a game of Yahtzee, was an amazing cook and in her later years she enjoyed the rivalry between the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband John Pender as well as her seven siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Hoadley and her husband Ronald of Pittsfield, her stepson, John E. Pender, Jr. of Strafford, two grandchildren, four great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In accordance with her wishes, services are private, family only.
